Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 600 g chicken breast fillet(s)
- 1 kg creamed spinach
- 120g bacon
- 3 tbsp capers
- 2 tbsp clarified butter
- 1 tsp garlic (flakes), dried
- 1 tbsp onion granules
- e.g. nutmeg
- n. B. Pepper, black
- e.g. fish sauce
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
Heat the clarified butter in a pan. Brown the bacon and capers, then remove and add them to the thawed spinach in a casserole dish. Season with nutmeg, fish sauce, pepper, garlic flakes, and onion. Brown the chicken breast on all sides in the same pan as the bacon. Place the chicken breast in the spinach and finish cooking for about 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius. It just needs to be piping hot.
