Chicken breast fillet with peppers in Gorgonzola cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 300g Gorgonzola
  • 500 ml cream or Rama Cremefine Culinesse
  • 10 Pepper, mild
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • pepper
  • Salt

It can also be done a little easier…

First, wash the chicken breast fillets and halve them. This should yield about 10-12 pieces for a 600g serving. Then, clean the bell peppers and chili peppers and cut into strips. Dice the Gorgonzola. Season the chicken pieces on both sides with plenty of pepper, salt, and both types of bell pepper. Then, render some fat in the pan and sear the chicken pieces. After searing, place the chicken pieces in a casserole dish. Add the cream or cream substitute to the hot cooking fat and bring to a boil briefly. Then add the Gorgonzola and dissolve it, stirring continuously. Add the bell pepper and chili pepper strips to the finished mixture. Heat briefly, then add the mixture to the chicken pieces in the casserole dish and spread evenly. Cook in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes. Whole-wheat pasta or any other type of pasta is recommended.
