Chicken breast in lemon marinade

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicken breast fillets, about 500-600 g total weight
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 tbsp oil, preferably olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp oregano, dried
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Lemon Chicken

Wash the meat, dry it with paper towels, and season with salt and pepper. Place the meat in a plastic bag and place it in a bowl. Mix the lemon juice, lime juice, orange juice, oil, sugar, and oregano. Pour the marinade into the bag, seal the bag, and refrigerate for 4-6 hours. This is ideal for grilling, but you can also cook it in a pan. Before placing the meat on the grill or in the pan, remove the meat from the marinade and discard any remaining marinade. Grill for 12-15 minutes, turning only once. Serve with a variety of salads and baguette.
