Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper
  • 125 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Lemon Chicken – Recipe from California

Melt the butter in the microwave – squeeze the lemons – add the spices and lemon juice to the butter and pour into an ovenproof dish – add a little lemon zest if desired – wash the chicken breasts and add them to the marinade – bake the whole thing in the oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes until the meat is cooked – occasionally pour the marinade over the meat – this goes well with 7 grain rice and a rocket salad with warm mushrooms tossed in pesto.
