Chicken breast in mushroom – red wine – cream sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 chicken breast fillets
  • 125 g bacon, diced, streaky
  • 2 onions
  • 250 g mushrooms, whole, from the can
  • 200 ml cream
  • 100 ml milk
  • 250 ml red wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the chicken breast into small pieces. Render a little fat in a pan and sauté the diced onion and bacon. Add the mushrooms and sauté briefly, deglaze with red wine, and simmer. Add the cream and milk. Season with salt and pepper. Garlic can be added to taste. Brown the chicken breast pieces in a little fat in a separate pan, then add them to the sauce and let it simmer for a while. Serve with either rice or spaetzle.
