Chicken breast with mustard and mushroom sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 1 onion(s)
  • some oil
  • 500 g mushrooms
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 200 ml white wine
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • some parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Dice the onion and garlic. Slice the mushrooms. Sauté the onion in a pan with oil. Add the mushrooms and garlic and fry. Remove from the pan and set aside. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper. Fry in the pan on both sides. Return the mushrooms and onions to the pan, mix everything together, and return to the heat. Deglaze with white wine and let the wine reduce slightly. Add the cream cheese, mustard, sugar, salt, and pepper, mix well, and bring back to a boil. Thicken with cornstarch, if desired, and garnish with parsley. Serve with rice and salad.
