Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 8 chicken legs with back portion, without skin
- 3 tbsp butter or margarine, melted
- 4 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp brown cane sugar
- 1 tsp paprika powder, mild or hot
- salt and pepper
- 3 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Place the chicken pieces top-down in a non-stick baking dish. Mix the remaining ingredients, except for the sesame seeds, and brush the tops of the legs with some of the mixture. Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan oven) and cook the chicken pieces for 25 minutes. Remove the baking dish from the oven, turn the legs over, and brush with the remaining mustard mixture. Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the top and press down lightly. Cook in the oven for another 25 minutes, until the glaze is browned. Serve with bread and salad. It also tastes delicious cold.
