Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 200 g butter
  • 150 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Flour
  • 300 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 100 g crème fraîche
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • salt and pepper
  • some oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours

Thaw the chicken breast fillets (if frozen) beforehand. Combine all the ingredients for the dough in a bowl and knead into a smooth dough. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Cut the chicken breast fillets into small cubes and fry in a pan with a little oil. Season well with salt, pepper, cinnamon, and curry powder, and stir in the crème fraîche. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut out 10 x 10 cm squares. Spread 1 tablespoon of the filling on each piece of dough and fold the pieces together to form triangles. Press the edges together with a fork. Place the parcels on a greased baking sheet or line them with baking paper. Brush with egg yolk, if desired. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20 minutes. Makes approx. 16 parcels. They taste great cold the next day, too.
