Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 chicken fillets, approx. 150 g each
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt and pepper, white
- 200 g whipped cream
- 125 ml broth, clear (instant)
- 100 g cream cheese with Provençal herbs
- 4 m.-sized tomatoes
- 500 g pasta (e.g. spaghetti, mie noodles), alternatively rice
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Heat oil in a pan. Brown the fillets. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from the pan. Deglaze the pan with cream and stock, bring to a boil. Stir in the cheese and melt over low heat. Season with salt and pepper. Return the fillets to the pan. Trim, wash, and dice the tomatoes. Finally, add them to the pan to warm through. In the meantime, cook pasta or rice according to the package instructions and serve with the sauce. Tip: You can use peppercorn cheese instead of herb cheese!
