Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g chicken breast fillet(s)
- 150g mozzarella
- 300 g crème fraîche with herbs
- 2 tsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 16 slices of bacon
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Chicken wrapped in bacon and delicious sauce
Rinse the chicken breast fillet under cold running water, pat dry, cut into approximately 16 equal pieces, and season with salt and pepper. Cut the mozzarella into 16 slices. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat) or 160°C (fan). For the sauce, combine the crème fraîche with tomato paste and cornstarch and spread it in a baking dish. Wrap the chicken pieces in bacon and place them in the baking dish. Arrange the mozzarella slices on top of the bites and bake for 30 minutes.
