Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 chicken breast fillets
- salt and pepper
- 150g mozzarella
- 2 cups of crème fraîche with tomato and basil, 125 g each
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 100 g bacon, sliced
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Bacon-wrapped chicken breast
Rinse the chicken breast fillet under cold running water and pat dry. Season the chicken breast fillet with salt and pepper. Slice the mozzarella. Preheat oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat), 160°C (fan). Mix the crème fraîche with the cornstarch and pour into a baking dish. Wrap the chicken pieces in the bacon and place in the baking dish. Arrange the mozzarella slices on top. Place the dish on the middle oven rack and bake for about 30 minutes. Serve with rice or pasta.
