Chicken in crème fraîche sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 2 bell peppers, red
  • 1 zucchini, depending on size
  • 400 g crème fraîche or sour cream
  • Fat, for frying
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • possibly basil or thyme
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

fresh and tasty, even on hot days

Dice the chicken breast and fry. Roughly dice the zucchini and bell pepper and add to the chicken breast. Don’t overcook it so the vegetables stay crisp! Add crème fraîche or sour cream and season to taste. I usually add salt, pepper, nutmeg, and paprika, or sometimes basil or thyme, depending on your mood and taste. Simmer briefly again. Tastes best with rice.
