Chicken pan with peppers and ham

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 chicken legs
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 100 g cooked ham
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • a little oil for frying
  • 2 tsp paprika powder, smoked
  • 1 pinch of parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Debone the chicken thighs and cut into bite-sized pieces. Clean the garlic, bell peppers, tomatoes, and onions and chop them together with the cooked ham. Season the meat all over with salt and pepper and fry in a pan with a little oil until golden brown. Then remove from the pan and set aside. Add the onions, garlic, ham, and bell peppers to the pan and sauté with the lid on for about 10 minutes. Then add the tomatoes and simmer for another 5 minutes. Add the meat, tomatoes, and paprika, and simmer covered for another 10 minutes. Finally, add the parsley. Serve with crusty bread.
