Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200g tagliatelle
  • 200 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 80 g smoked bacon (back bacon)
  • 150 g cherry tomatoes
  • 1 shallot(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 chili pepper(s)
  • 1 tsp thyme, shredded
  • 2 tbsp basil, freshly chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • Pecorino, freshly grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Noodles with chicken

Fry the finely diced bacon in a large pan, slice the chicken breast into strips, and brown it. Slice the shallot into half rings and add it to the meat along with the chopped garlic clove. Season with the deseeded and chopped chili, thyme, salt, and pepper. Once the meat is cooked, add the quartered cherry tomatoes and fry briefly. Cook the pasta until al dente, add it to the pan, and mix everything together. If it’s too dry, add a little of the pasta cooking water. Serve sprinkled with basil and serve the cheese on the side.
