Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 200 g rice
- 400 ml water
- 2 tsp salt
- 400 g chicken breast fillet(s)
- 600 g broccoli
- 2 onions
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 12 tbsp water, hot
- 50 g sour cream
- 2 tsp curry powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cook rice over low heat for about 20 minutes according to the package instructions. Rinse the chicken breast fillet under cold running water, pat dry, and cut into strips about 1 1/2 cm thick. Trim the broccoli and cut into small florets. Finely dice the onion. Heat oil in a pan, fry the chicken strips, and season with salt and pepper. Add the broccoli and diced onion and fry briefly. Stir in the lemon juice and water, cover, and cook for about 5 minutes. Stir in the sour cream and season the ragout with salt, pepper, and curry powder. Serve the chicken ragout with rice.
