Chicken Sage Involtini on Spinach

The perfect chicken sage involtini on spinach recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 piece Chicken fillets
  • 4 piece Sage leaves
  • 2 Discs Cheese
  • 2 slices Smoked ham
  • 1 packet Fresh spinach
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1 pinch Salt and pepper
  • Toothpick
  1. Wash the chicken fillet and pat dry. Then cut open in the middle, put ham, cheese, sage leaves in them and secure with toothpicks.
  2. Put the filled chicken fillets in the pan and fry on both sides.
  3. Clean spinach and, if necessary, remove stems. Peel and dice the onions and sauté in a saucepan, add the spinach and cook (the spinach still collapses), season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the spinach on a plate and garnish with the chicken fillets (remove toothpicks).
