Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 chicken breast fillets, cut into 3 x 3 cm cubes
- 1 m.-large onion(s), red, cut into wedges
- 1 large yellow bell pepper(s), cut into 3 x 3 cm pieces
- 1 small zucchini, cut into slightly thicker slices
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100 ml soy sauce, dark
- Salt
- Black pepper, freshly ground
- ½ tsp sweet paprika powder
- 2 tbsp honey
- Oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Thread chicken breast, onions, bell peppers, and zucchini alternately onto skewers. Mix the olive oil, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika to make a marinade and coat the skewers with it. Heat the oil in a large pan, sear the skewers on all sides over high heat, then cook over low heat for five minutes until cooked through. Remove the skewers and place them on a preheated platter. Combine the pan juices with the remaining soy sauce and honey, bring to a boil, and pour over the skewers.
