Chicken skewers with mustard marinade

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • ½ tsp sherry
  • some black pepper
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • 4 chicken breast fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 zucchini, sliced
  • 300 g mushrooms

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

For the marinade, combine all ingredients and season to taste. Let the marinade sit while the vegetables are chopped. Now slice the chicken breast fillets, carrots, and zucchini. Leave the mushrooms whole. Alternate between 2 pieces of chicken, carrots, zucchini, and 1 mushroom on a skewer. Repeat until all ingredients are used up. Marinate the skewers in the mustard marinade for 1 hour, then grill them on a grill rack covered with aluminum foil.
