Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken breast
  • 1 cups Natural yoghurt
  • Fresh ginger
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • 0,5 Lemon
  • 2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1,5 tsp Salt
  • 0,5 tsp Pepper

Instructions

  • - Cut the chicken breast into several pieces (approx. 3 - 4 cm) - cut the ginger and garlic into fine cubes - squeeze the lemon
  • - Mix the yoghurt, ginger, garlic, lemon juice and all the spices in a bowl - add the chicken breast pieces to the marinade - stir everything briefly and cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours (better overnight)
  • - Preheat the oven to 180 degrees - cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly oil it - line the chicken pieces on the baking sheet and bake for about 25 minutes
  • The dish itself hardly has any juice of its own. So it's rather dry. That's why it goes best with a salad with dressing and bread. In India it is served with salad and Indian bread (similar to the flat bread we know).
