Instructions
- Prepare polenta according to the basic recipe.
- Finely chop the garlic cloves.
- Melt the butter in another pan and add the garlic.
- Put the finished polenta in the butter and garlic pan and mix well.
- Pour the mixture onto a board or baking tray that has been rinsed with cold water.
- Smooth out the mass. A layer about 1cm thick should be created. Place in the fridge to cool. (During this time, e.g. a sliced meat can be cooked or a salad can be made)
- Once the polenta has cooled down, cut it into approx. 5x5 cm squares.
- Turn the slices in portions in the well-beaten eggs and fry them in butter until light brown. The cuts can be kept warm in the oven.
