Chicken with garlic bulb

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 chicken, cut into 10 pieces
  • 1 bulb(s) garlic
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 125 ml white wine
  • 125 ml broth
  • possibly flour butter if required
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

In a hot casserole dish, brown the chicken pieces in butter and oil. Peel the garlic cloves, add them, and fry briefly. Deglaze with white wine and broth and simmer uncovered for about 30 minutes. The garlic will melt. Reduce the sauce to your liking or thicken it with flour and butter. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with rice or noodles.
