Chicory and Tuna Salad
The perfect chicory and tuna salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Can Tuna
- 3 tablespoon Vinegar
- Salt
- Pepper
- Sugar
- Nutmeg
- Oil
- 1 Carrot
- 1 Turnip white
- 2 piston Chicory
- 2 piston Dill
- Drain the tuna and set aside
- Season the vinegar with salt, pepper, sugar and nutmeg and finally stir in the oil
- Peel the carrots and turnips and cut both into fine strips, add to the sauce.
- Remove the bitter stalk from the chicoree, cut into narrow strips, finely chop the dill and add everything to the salad with the tuna.
- Let the salad steep for 30 minutes and season again if necessary.
- I like to eat the salad in the evening as a low-carbohydrate dinner, but if you want you can also eat a slice of bread with it – enjoy your meal; 🙂
