Chicory Boat

The perfect chicory boat recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

chicory

  • 1 piston Chicory white
  • 1 piston Chicory red

cream

  • 200 g Gorgonzola
  • 100 g Cream cheese
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 Spring onions
  • Salt
  • Pepper

aside from that

  • Mango
  • 6 small Tomatoes
  • Walnuts
  • Parsely

  1. Clean the chicory, cut in half, remove the bitter stalk, loosen the leaves and place them alternately on a board

cream

  1. Beat the Gorgonzola with the cream cheese until smooth, peel the garlic and cut into small pieces.
  2. Clean the spring onion, cut into small rings and add to the cream with the garlic, salt and pepper and stir well.

aside from that

  1. Peel the mango, cut into small cubes and cut the tomatoes in half

Serving

  1. Put the gorgonzola cream in the middle of the chicory, put tomatoes all around, top with mango and walnuts
  2. Finally sprinkle with parsley and enjoy
  3. If you want, you can eat some baguette with it – wish you a good appetite; 🙂
