Chicory pasta bake

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicory
  • 400 g pasta (spaghetti)
  • Water (salt water)
  • 1 slice(s) of cooked ham
  • 75 g ham, raw, diced
  • n. B. Pickled gherkin(s)
  • 1 can of tomato paste
  • 1 can of crème fraîche
  • 300 g ajvar
  • some chives
  • some parsley
  • n. B. Cheese for topping
  • 100 ml broth

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. Cook the chicory in boiling water for 3-4 minutes. Halve lengthwise. Dice the ham and gherkins. Mix with the raw ham cubes and the chopped herbs. Combine the tomato paste, ajvar, broth, and crème fraîche. Drain the pasta and place it in a baking dish. Stir in the ham and cucumber mixture and some of the sauce. Place the chicory on top of the pasta and cover with the remaining sauce. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 10-15 minutes on the middle rack at 180°C.
