Chicory salad with walnut sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 chicory, approx. 500 g
  • 1 pear(s), quarter, pitted, thinly sliced
  • 2 apples, red-skinned, quartered, pitted, thinly sliced
  • 250 ml kefir
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 ½ tbsp honey
  • 75 g walnuts, crumbled
  • pepper
  • Salt

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

fruity delicious

Remove the chicory stem in a wedge shape, reserving a few leaves for garnish. Cut the remaining chicory crosswise into strips and mix with the pear and apple slices. Make a sauce from the kefir, lemon juice, honey, and walnuts. Season generously with salt and pepper, and toss with the salad ingredients.
