Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g beans, green, fresh or frozen
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 400 g prawn(s), peeled
  • 4 tbsp chili sauce or Asian sauce
  • 300 g tagliatelle pasta
  • salt water
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp thyme, dried
  • 1 tsp vegetable stock, instant
  • 130 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Trim and wash the beans, and if necessary, cut diagonally into long pieces (defrost frozen beans). Peel the garlic and slice thinly. Cut a slit lengthwise along the back of the prawns, remove the intestines, rinse, and pat dry. Cook the tagliatelle in plenty of boiling salted water for about 10 minutes. Heat the oil in a large, lidded pan and fry the prawns for 1 minute on each side. Season with salt and pepper and remove. Sauté the beans in the frying fat for about 5 minutes. Briefly sauté the garlic and thyme. Add 130 ml of water and stock, bring to a boil, and cook covered for 8 minutes. Stir in the chili or Asian sauce and season to taste. Drain the noodles, stir in the prawns, and heat briefly.
