Ingredients
- 40 g Butter
- 1 tbsp Flour
- 300 ml Milk cold
- 110 g Grated cheddar cheese
- 125 g Double cream cheese
- 1 tbsp Vinegar
- 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
- Pepper, salt, pinch of sugar
- 80 g Salsa or gypsy sauce
Instructions
- Melt the butter in the pan. Stir in the flour and deglaze with the milk. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and thick. Turn down the heat.
- Add the cream cheese and the grated cheddar and keep stirring until the cheese has dissolved.
- Season to taste with cayenne pepper, pepper, salt, vinegar and sugar and finally stir in the salsa or gypsy sauce.
- The dip will keep chilled for a few days.
