Chili Cheese Dip

Ingredients
 

  • 40 g Butter
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 300 ml Milk cold
  • 110 g Grated cheddar cheese
  • 125 g Double cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • Pepper, salt, pinch of sugar
  • 80 g Salsa or gypsy sauce

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter in the pan. Stir in the flour and deglaze with the milk. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and thick. Turn down the heat.
  • Add the cream cheese and the grated cheddar and keep stirring until the cheese has dissolved.
  • Season to taste with cayenne pepper, pepper, salt, vinegar and sugar and finally stir in the salsa or gypsy sauce.
  • The dip will keep chilled for a few days.
