Chili Cheese Dip

The perfect chili cheese dip recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 40 g Butter
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 300 ml Milk cold
  • 110 g Grated cheddar cheese
  • 125 g Cream cheese double cream setting
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • Pepper, salt, pinch of sugar
  • 80 g Salsa or gypsy sauce
  1. Melt the butter in the pan. Stir in the flour and deglaze with the milk. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and thick. Turn down the heat.
  2. Add the cream cheese and the grated cheddar and keep stirring until the cheese has dissolved.
  3. Season to taste with cayenne pepper, pepper, salt, vinegar and sugar and finally stir in the salsa or gypsy sauce.
  4. The dip will keep chilled for a few days.
