Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 750 g minced beef
  • 500 g onion(s) (vegetable onions)
  • 3 bell peppers, green, red, yellow
  • 3 cans of kidney beans
  • 1 pack of tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 packs of tomatoes, pieces
  • 1 can of corn
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 50 g chili powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 500 ml vegetable stock
  • salt and pepper
  • Cayenne pepper
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

In a large pot, brown the ground beef in olive oil, stirring in the chili seasoning and sugar. Add the finely diced onions, bell peppers, and garlic, and reduce the heat to low. Add half of the canned kidney beans and stir vigorously. Now add the passata and chopped tomatoes. Add 1 can of corn. Stir in the vegetable stock, season with salt and freshly ground pepper, and simmer on low heat for about 2 hours, stirring frequently. Finally, season with cayenne pepper and serve with baguettes.
