Chili con Carne

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, of your choice
  • 1 pack of tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 can chili beans
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can of corn
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red, green or yellow
  • 1 bottle of chili sauce
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • Tabasco

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

First, wash the bell peppers and chop them as desired. Brown the minced meat. Then add the tomatoes and bring to a boil. Add the chili and kidney beans. Bring back to a boil. Add the corn next. You can also add the bell pepper pieces at the same time. The longer the bell peppers cook, the softer they will become. Finally, add the chili sauce and bring back to a boil (depending on how you like the bell peppers). Season to taste before serving. Be careful, though, as reheating the chili will usually make it even hotter.
