Chili con Carne Tex-Mex style

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • chili powder
  • 2 red chili peppers
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 can of corn
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can of tomatoes, peeled
  • ½ liter meat broth
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and finely dice the garlic and onion. Then fry them in hot oil in a pan. Add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Season everything with chili powder, salt, and pepper. Add the meat broth, chili peppers, and tomatoes to the pan and simmer over low heat for about 1 hour. 15 minutes before the end of the cooking time, add the beans and corn and heat through. Serve hot.
