Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 2 m.-sized onion(s)
- 2 garlic cloves (or 3)
- 1 chili pepper(s), alternatively ground chili
- 250 g leek
- 2 jars of pumpkin flesh (720ml each)
- 1 can of red beans (425ml)
- 1.2 kg minced meat, mixed
- 4 tbsp oil
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder, sweet
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 can of tomatoes (850ml)

perfect for a Halloween party
Peel and chop the onions and garlic. Wash, deseed, and finely chop the chili pepper. Trim, wash, and finely chop the leek. Drain the pumpkin, reserving the liquid. Rinse the beans thoroughly and drain. Brown the minced meat in hot oil until crumbly. Add the onions, garlic, leek, and chili and fry briefly. Season with salt, pepper, and sweet paprika. Sauté the tomato paste and deglaze with about 250ml water, tomatoes (with juice), and 200ml pumpkin liquid. Bring to a boil. Add the pumpkin and beans and simmer for about 25 minutes. Season again to taste. Tip: We halved the recipe and have a delicious lunch on the table.
