Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg pumpkin flesh
- 500 g minced meat, mixed or just beef
- 1 onion(s), diced
- 3 chili peppers
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 can of tomatoes, peeled
- 1 can kidney beans
- olive oil
- salt and pepper

Chili con Carne with a twist
Brown the minced meat in olive oil and season. Chop the pumpkin and chilies into small pieces. Add the onion, garlic, and pumpkin and chilies and simmer briefly. Roughly chop the canned tomatoes, add them, and simmer for about 30 minutes. Add the beans and simmer for another 5-10 minutes.
