Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 5 onions
- 2 can/n tomatoes, chunky
- salt and pepper
- ½ bunch basil
- ½ bunch parsley
- 2 garlic cloves
- 600 g sausage (Pugliese sausage without fennel)
- 1 jar water
- 1 chili pepper(s), seeds removed if necessary
- some olive oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Onion and vegetables with sausage. The sausage is also homemade.
Peel and slice the onions, peel and chop the garlic. Slice the sausage. Briefly fry the sausage in a little olive oil and remove from the pan. Add the onions and garlic to the pan and cook together over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Then add the sausage, mix briefly, and deglaze with the tomatoes and water. Add the chopped herbs and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for about 45 minutes. Serve with either fresh white bread or spaghetti.
