Piri-Piri

Deseed and slice the chili pepper, peel and slice the onion, and chop both very finely in a food processor. Then add the lemon juice and the peeled tomato and chop again. Briefly bring the finished sauce to a boil in a pot with oil, let it cool, and store it in a sealable container for 2-3 days. If you like it very spicy, you can add a green chili pepper. The sauce is perfect as a barbecue sauce, fondue sauce, or as a spread on baguette.
