China – Noodles with beef

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g Chinese egg noodles (Mie noodles)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 piece(s) ginger (walnut-sized)
  • 2 small bell peppers
  • 500 g Chinese cabbage
  • 300g rump steak(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the noodles according to the package instructions and drain. Finely dice the onion, garlic, and ginger. Chop the bell peppers and finely strip the Chinese cabbage. Cut the meat into thin strips. Heat a little oil in a wok and sear the meat until crispy, then remove. Season with salt and pepper. Sauté the onion, garlic, and bell peppers, stirring constantly. Add the noodles, Chinese cabbage, and ginger and fry for about 2-3 minutes. Stir in the soy sauce and meat. Season to taste with pepper and, if desired, a little more soy sauce.
