Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 medium-sized carrots
  • 2 tbsp, heaped Ajvar
  • possibly salt and pepper
  • some oil for frying
  • 1 dash of cream or condensed milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

vegetarian, quick side dish

Peel the carrots, cut them into strips, and sauté them in a little oil. Meanwhile, cut the Chinese cabbage into strips, add them to the carrots, and sauté them as well. Once the Chinese cabbage has wilted, stir in the ajvar and continue simmering until the desired tenderness is reached. We like the vegetables crunchy. Add a splash of condensed milk or cream and season to taste.
