Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 cup wild rice
  • 2 ¼ cups water
  • 1 large onion(s), finely diced
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

The cups have a capacity of 125 ml. Fry the onion in oil. Add the rice and fry for a bit, then add the salted water. Simmer the rice for 20-45 minutes, starting from the moment it’s boiling and then for 3-4 minutes without heat. This dish is delicious with fish, for example.
