Chocolate-almond slices

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 m.-sized eggs
  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon powder
  • 250 g almond(s), finely ground
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 250 g semi-sweet chocolate coating, finely grated
  • 1 pack of cake icing (chocolate icing)
  • 60 almonds, for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Quickly made, delicious Christmas biscuits, makes about 60 pieces

Beat the eggs, sugar, and butter until fluffy. Add the flour, almonds, chocolate coating, cinnamon powder, and a pinch of salt and mix well. Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) on the middle rack for about 25 minutes, until the surface is dry and no longer shiny. While still warm, cut into approximately 4 x 4 cm pieces, let cool on the baking sheet, and cover with the chocolate glaze. Decorate with the whole almonds. Approx. 60 pieces.
