Chocolate Apple Cake from the Tray

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g margarine
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 6 eggs
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 6 tbsp cocoa powder (not cocoa)
  • 150 ml cream or sour cream
  • 1 kg apples, sour
  • Cinnamon – sugar or
  • Sugar granules

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Sheet cake, very easy

Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Peel, quarter, and core the apples. Cut larger apples into eighths. Beat margarine, eggs, and sugar until very fluffy. Combine flour, cocoa, and baking powder and add to the pan. Add cream/sour cream and mix to form a smooth batter (it shouldn’t be too stiff). Spread the batter onto the greased baking sheet. Distribute the apples evenly over the batter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes (depending on your oven—use a toothpick to check if it’s cooked through). Instead of apples, you can also use peaches, nectarines, apricots, or fresh, pitted cherries.
