Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g sugar
  • 250 g almonds, ground
  • 1 tbsp, heaped flour
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ bottle of bitter almond oil
  • some powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 16 minutes; Total time approx. 36 minutes

Quick almond chocolate pastry, makes about 20 pieces

Whisk the eggs with the bitter almond oil in a mixing bowl. In a large bowl, combine the sugar, almonds, flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder, then fold in the eggs. Form the mixture into approximately 20 walnut-sized balls and coat them in the powdered sugar. Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving plenty of space between them. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 16 minutes on the middle rack. After baking, place on a wire rack to cool and allow the air to evaporate.
