Christmassy and simple

Cover the bottom of a baking dish with ladyfingers. Mix the liqueur with the milk and spread it over the ladyfingers using a tablespoon. The mixture should be pink. Then spread half of the apple compote on top. Meanwhile, mix the mascarpone with the quark, sugar, and vanilla sugar until smooth. Add the cream and whip everything. Use cream stiffener if desired. Spread half of the cream over the apples and top with speculaas. Then layer the remaining apple compote on top, cover with the remaining cream, and smooth it down. The dessert now needs to be refrigerated for about two hours. Just before serving, dust with cocoa powder and, if desired, cinnamon and gingerbread spice through a sieve.
