Chocolate-banana croissants

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 banana(s)
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 g butter
  • powdered sugar
  • Flour , for the work surface

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Peel the banana and mash it with a fork. Sift the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder into a bowl. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, butter, and banana puree and mix with the dough hook of a hand mixer until crumbly. Then quickly knead on a floured surface until smooth. Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan/convection oven). Line a baking tray with baking paper. Shape the dough into finger-thick rolls and cut into 4-5 cm long pieces. Roll out the ends slightly thinner and shape into croissants. Place the croissants on the baking tray and bake on the middle shelf of the oven for about 12 minutes. Let cool and dust with powdered sugar. Serve with a cappuccino or even an espresso.
