Chocolate brownies with fruit

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 bars of dark chocolate (100 g each)
  • 1 bar of milk chocolate, approx. 100 g
  • 130 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 3 eggs, size M
  • 140 g flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 bananas, pears or peaches
  • e.g. milk chocolate, dark chocolate or powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

for a 23 x 23 cm brownie tin or a 20 x 30 cm casserole dish

Place one bar of dark chocolate and the milk chocolate in a bowl with 120g of butter and melt over a pan of simmering water. Mix well and let cool slightly. Place the second bar of dark chocolate in a freezer bag and crumble it with a rolling pin. Mix the flour with the baking powder and salt. Place the eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar in a bowl and beat until fluffy, then carefully stir in the lukewarm chocolate mixture. Gradually sift in the flour and stir in. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Meanwhile, chop the bananas, pears, or peaches into small pieces and fold them into the batter along with the chocolate chips. Grease a 23 x 23 cm brownie pan or simply a 20 x 30 cm baking dish well with the remaining butter, pour in the batter, and spread evenly. Bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack for about 20-25 minutes. Depending on the appliance, this will take +/- 2 minutes. To be on the safe side, use a wooden skewer to check how soft the brownies are inside. Tips: For those who like them soft, the specified time should be sufficient. If you don’t like them quite so soft, you can leave the brownies in the oven for a few minutes longer. Let the brownies cool slightly until they are lukewarm; this is how they taste best. If you like, you can cover the brownies with milk or dark chocolate, sprinkle them with powdered sugar, or serve them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
