Chocolate Bun

The perfect chocolate bun recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 340 ml Milk warm
  • 0,5 Yeast cubes
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 2 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 600 g Flour
  • 1 Pr Salt
  • 100 g Margarine soft
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tsp Milk
  • 1,5 Panel Chocolate
  • Butter for brushing
  • Powdered sugar
  1. Mix the milk, yeast, sugar, V-sugar and 2 tablespoons of the flour and let stand covered for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the remaining flour, salt and margarine and knead into a smooth dough. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 15 minutes.
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into 12-15 portions. Break up the chocolate and distribute it over the dough portions according to taste (amount).
  4. Roll up the dough and place on a baking sheet with baking paper. Cover with a cloth and let rise for 20 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200 °.
  5. Whisk the egg with the milk and brush the rolls. Let bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Brush with soft butter immediately after baking and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
