  • 200 g chocolate (date chocolate)
  • 170 g butter
  • 160 g dates
  • 5 eggs
  • 40 g flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

without industrial sugar

First, chop the chocolate and melt it with the butter over a bain-marie. Separate the eggs, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then add the egg yolks to the cooled, melted chocolate and stir in. Preheat the oven to 150°C (top/bottom heat). Cut the dates into small pieces, add them to the chocolate mixture, and blend until almost no pieces remain. Then stir in the flour, then carefully fold in the beaten egg whites. Pour the mixture into a large 26-28 cm diameter dish and bake for about 40 minutes. Caution: Do not bake for longer than 40 minutes, or the moist center won’t remain!
