Ingredients

  • 250 g Butter or margarine
  • 200 g Brown sugar
  • 150 g White sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 300 g Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 100 g Chopped white chocolate
  • 100 g Dark chocolate chopped
  • 100 g Macadamia nuts
  • 60 g Cocoa powder heavily de-oiled

Instructions

  • Mix the softened butter with the white and brown sugar until frothy. Mix the flour with the baking powder and cocoa and gradually stir in. Finally stir in the coarsely chopped chocolate and nuts. Squirt large walnut balls onto the baking sheet - you can also use two teaspoons.
  • Bake for 10 minutes on the middle rack at 160 degrees or 180 degrees with top-bottom heat. I put the trays in the oven one at a time, despite the fact that the oven is mostly rotating because the oven is too old and it no longer bakes evenly. I have not counted the biscuits now but see the picture my large storage jar has not reached. see photo
  • With the topping of my chocolate-cherry cupcakes, the biscuits become whoopies :-). A little more Christmas decorated for the coffee table for the festival. see pictures
