Chocolate Chip Cookies

The perfect chocolate chip cookies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 110 g Butter very soft
  • 150 g Sugar brown
  • 75 g Sugar white
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tsp Vanilla flavor
  • 200 g Flour
  • 10 g Cornstarch
  • 5 g Baking powder
  • 3 g Salt
  • 200 g Chocolate chips
  1. Mix the butter and sugar for approx. 5 minutes until creamy. Add egg and vanilla flavor and stir in. Mix the flour, starch, baking powder and salt and sift into the butter mixture in several portions and stir in. Finally fold in the chips.
  2. Shape the mixture into approx. 20 table tennis ball-sized balls, place them tightly on a board and place with it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  3. Preheat the oven to 190 ° O / bottom heat. Line the tray with baking paper or foil and bake the cookies in 2 – 3 portions. If possible, put only 8 pieces on the tray with a large gap. The baking time is 10 – 12 minutes (please not longer). They shouldn’t brown on the surface. When the underside is colored, slide the paper onto a grid immediately. They are then still very soft, but then become firmer as they cool down. Bake all other portions like this.
