Chocolate Chip Muffins

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 50 ml oil
  • 150 g chocolate, chopped
  • flavoring (vanilla or rum)
  • 50 g chocolate, melted

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Grease (only!) the bottoms of a muffin tin. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, beat the egg and sugar until fluffy. Then stir in the oil and sour cream, and vanilla or rum flavoring if desired. Add the flour mixture and chocolate chips, stirring (by hand!) just until the dry ingredients are moistened. Divide the batter among the muffin tins. Bake for about 20-25 minutes. Leave in the tin for 1 minute, then transfer to a wire rack. Drizzle with melted chocolate.
