Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 100 g flour
- 90 g flour (wholemeal flour)
- ½ tsp, leveled baking soda
- 7 g baking powder
- 30 g cocoa powder
- 100 g dark chocolate (cut into small pieces)
- 1 egg(s)
- 80 g brown sugar
- 80 ml oil
- ½ bottle of butter-vanilla flavoring
- 250 ml buttermilk
- Cake icing (chocolate icing)
- Chocolate, white
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Preheat oven to 160°C (325°F). Combine all dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder, and chocolate) in a bowl. In another bowl, whisk the egg and sugar, oil, flavoring, and buttermilk. Add the flour mixture and whisk until well-combined. Divide the batter among the muffin tins and bake for about 20 minutes. Dip the muffins in the chocolate glaze and then sprinkle with white chocolate shavings.
