Chocolate Coconut Meringue Biscuits

The perfect chocolate coconut meringue biscuits recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 6 Egg whites
  • 350 gr Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 100 gr Dark couverture
  • 150 gr Coconut flakes
  1. Beat egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff, slowly add sugar.
  1. Preheat the oven to 100 degrees.
  1. Using a piping bag or simply a teaspoon, place small heaps on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Takes 2 baking trays straight away, with the amount you need that too.
  1. Now bake at 100 degrees for about 80-90 minutes until they are completely dry.
  1. Shortly before the meringue biscuits are ready, you can melt the couverture in a water bath. After the biscuits have been baked, take them out of the oven, let them cool down briefly, cover with couverture and sprinkle with coconut.
  1. Let dry and the sugar sweet meringue biscuits are ready 🙂
